They have a rummage sale going on this weekend to help raise funds for their nonprofit, and are always looking for fosters/volunteers to help. Be sure to tune in!

While Jefferson waits on his forever family, he decided to pull out a big box and fill it with fabulous gently used items from around his foster home to donate to our rummage sale!! Unfortunately, in true cat fashion, he decided he’d rather take a nap in the box…😹

Sooooooo… we’re counting on you to fill some boxes with great items you no longer need or want and bring them on over to the Oklahoma Fire Hall (1257 Chestnut Ave. DuBois). ☺️ Drop off is tomorrow and Friday from noon-8:00 PM! 😺

Then, come shop with us this Saturday and Sunday (10/17 and 10/18) at the same location from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Remember… nothing will be priced, everything will be sold by donation only! Every item donated and every item purchased helps save cats like gentle Jefferson….♥️

Our beautiful Clover would like to remind everyone that items for the sale can be dropped off THIS Thursday & Friday (10/15 and 10/16) from noon-8:00PM at the Oklahoma Fire Hall (1257 Chestnut Ave. DuBois, PA)!

We then invite you all to gather up some friends and come shop the treasures on Saturday & Sunday (10/17 and 10/18) from 9:00 AM-3:00PM. 😺 Every item donated and every item purchased helps us save homeless cats in our community! ♥️

What can you donate? Almost anything that’s clean, usable, and ready for a new home!

🎃 Holiday decorations 🎄
🍽️ Dishes, kitchen gadgets, and cookware
📚 Books, toys, puzzles, and games
👕 Clothing, shoes, and accessories
🧸 Toys and household treasures
🖼️ Pictures, frames, and wall art
🪑 Furniture and useful household items
🎁 Those gifts you’ve been holding onto because you felt guilty getting rid of them. We won’t tell! 😉
👡 Those impulse purchases from Amazon Prime Days that looked AMAZING when you ordered them, turned out to be something you will never use and are still sitting in your house because returning them feels like too much work. (Okay, wow. That got oddly specific… 🤣)

🚫 Please leave these items at home:

❌ Broken, damaged, or unusable items
❌ Dirty, stained, or heavily worn clothing
❌ Items that are missing essential parts
❌ Used mattresses and pillows
❌ Opened toiletries or personal-care products
❌ Anything moldy, musty, or otherwise unsuitable for resale

Never have two souls radiated joy and happiness more than Gunnar & Greyson! 🩶🩶 Silly and playful…gentle and loving… they are everything wonderful. ☺️ Friends to all, these bonded brothers enjoy the companionship of dogs as well as cats and have never met a stranger. ♥️

We often wonder how kittens this precious could possibly still be waiting on their forever? 🥺 Then we remember that in rescue, as in life, what is meant to be will always find a way…So, tonight we are asking everyone to kindly share this post with love and with the hope that the one meant to share their life with these darling boys will, at long last, find them. Goodness knows, they deserve it. 🥹

🌸 Well, bless their little hearts… meet the Southern Belles! 🩷🐾

Dixie, Dolly, & Jolene may have arrived from 3 completely different places, but these little singleton ladies were clearly meant to find their way to us. 🎀

Playful, cuddly, sweet, and absolutely wonderful…they deserve the best homes. They should be playing, climbing, cuddling and causing the appropriate amount of kitten chaos. 🤣
Since all of our fosters are full, these girls are terrorizing their kennels multiple times a day instead. 😭💔 Kittens belong in homes, not kennels.

These girls have a little Southern charm in their souls. 💕 They’re sweet as Georgia peaches, prettier than a Sunday morning, and ready to find their forever folks and live happily ever after.

Two-hundred and twenty days ago, this quote appeared on a post looking for Bob’s family. We didn’t choose it simply because it was beautiful and poetic…we chose it because in our hearts, we knew it was true.

….And two weeks ago, a random, rainy Sunday in September became, Bob’s extra special, “one day“.

…Because from the moment they saw him, they knew he had always been meant to be loved by them. ♥️
…And from the moment he met them, it was obvious, he had chosen them too. And it was indeed, the very best thing. ♥️

Meet Smudge. 🩶🤍

We thought we were rescuing a gray cat from the powdered metal plant. Turns out, we were rescuing a powdered cat. 😅😳

Covered in metal dust, we raced against the clock to get this cleaned up because consuming powdered metal can be toxic. Somehow, through it all, this sweet boy barely knew us and still tolerated his bath like he knew we were there to save him. 🥹🩵

That’s when we knew his kind soul was something spectacular. His name was born: Smudge.

And now? He is INCREDIBLY playful and completely lovable. 😻 We’ll share a video in the comments so you can see for yourself just what a special little guy Smudge is. ❤️

This guy, approximately 6mo old, loses the family jewels tomorrow and will be ready for adoption this week!
