Hey all, our youth will be selling shirts again this year. We are offering 2 shirts.

One is God is greater than our highs and lows (black shirt below).

The other is “The Four” which reads “God loves you, sin seperates you from God, Jesus came to rescue you, will you trust Jesus?” (red shirt below).

Both of these shirt will be available in red and black and in both long and short sleeve.
Short sleeve will cost $15.
Long sleeve will cost $20.

Sizes range from Child Small-Adult 5X in short sleeve and Child Small-Adult 3X in long sleeve.

Please contact a youth at New Prospect or direct message Ethan Lewis to place an order. Orders and money are due by March 20. If we do not have your money or order by then, we will not be able to order your shirt.

Thank you in advance for your support of this fundraiser. It will help us pay for the students camp shirts and supplies we have to get when we are at camp this summer.

Sorry for the late post, but last weeend the youth went to D-NOW (discipleship now) at the Twin Lakes encampment in Woodworth. They had a good fun time at what was the big creek associations 17th DNOW.

BUT more importantly, they were challenged spiritually and in their walks with the Lord. Throughout the weekend they were presented with sermons on being the connected church and accepting differences within the church, building their lives on the firm foundation that is a life with Jesus and in relation to God, a challenge to intentionally worship, and a strong gospel presentation that led to true worship in the building.

Thank you all for the all the support throughout the years and still today.

Ended up taking the youth for a frozen yogurt fellowship last Wednesday.

Last Wednesday was our las week of summer activities. Starting this Wednesday, August 2nd we are returning to our typical schedule of 6:30-7:30ish and ALSO welcoming our NEW 6th graders into the youth group!

But last Wednesday we were joined by First Baptist Church Pollock’s youth group for one last round of slip and slide kickball for the summer and the classic throwing water balloons at people (they throw really hard from really close). We also had a discussion about reading our bibles and what that looks like for us.

Thank Mrs Suzy and Mr Danny for bringing y’all’s youth over! Thank you Mrs Jackie for all the help setting up and cleaning up this whole summer!

Please keep these students in your prayers as most of them return to school in a week and as some of them got hurt playing kickball and others have life/health concerns going on.

This last Wednesday we went out to eat at Los Portales for some good food and better fellowship. Be in prayer for these studnets as school starts back up in the next few weeks.

A quick little snapshot of the past 2 weeks.

2 weeks ago we played some duck duck splash slip and slide kickball. Last week we played sticks (which there are no pictures from sorry) and wiffle ball. This weekend we went out to the Lakes.

Now let’s not get it twisted. We had lessons each night before we went out and did these things. 2 weeks ago we talked about Peter walking on water and how his faith was called little (but that might have mean not long enduring). Last week we had a student led, adult facilitated round the room discussion about ways that their faith is evident in their lives, why they don’t talk about God like we do everythjng else (which we squashed all of those why’s just to be clear), and things they’re learning from reading their Bibles and that life in the faith is teaching them.

We also debrief (talk about) every game we play and relate it back the Bible and the Christian life in some way or another.
