What an incredible moment for the Standardbred breed! 🎉

On Sunday at Solvalla Racecourse in Stockholm, Sweden, Allegiant etched her name into the history books by becoming the fastest trotter in harness racing history. The 5-year-old daughter of Tactical Landing captured the prestigious Elitlopp Final in a breathtaking 1:07.1, equaling a mile rate of 1:48 flat.

Congratulations to trainer Daniel Redén, driver Örjan Kihlström, and everyone involved in this remarkable achievement.

We want to extend a huge thank you to a generous supporter who recently lost her beloved horse and chose to donate all of his feed and medications to BTFL. We are incredibly grateful for such a thoughtful and meaningful gift, and our horses are certainly just as excited about it as we are. ❤️

Losing a horse leaves an immeasurable hole, and we are honored that she chose to help our herd in his memory. While healing takes time, we look forward to helping her find her next perfect partner when the time is right. Until then, she always has a place here to visit, snuggle horses, and be part of the BTFL family.

Tonight is the big night for DONTMINDIFIGOO as he makes his debut in the Dixon Oval at Devon. We are estimating they will show around 8pm. You can watch the live stream for free on the Devon Website.

The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse show in the United States and so much more.

While our hearts belong to the trotters and pacers, it’s hard not to appreciate the excitement of the Preakness Stakes.

Today we celebrate the speed, grit, and tradition that make horse racing so special—no matter the discipline. Whether it’s under saddle, over fences, or flying down the track, great horses are great horses.
