The Butler Township Police Department collaborated successfully with the Best Cigar Pub, providing comprehensive patrol and traffic management services for their annual Smoke-Onos event. We express our gratitude to the Best Cigar Pub, vendors, attendees, and our community for their cooperation. We also acknowledge the invaluable support of collaborating agencies in ensuring a safe and secure event.

During National Police Week 2026, we proudly recognize the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of the men and women who serve our community each and every day. Law enforcement officers continually place themselves in harm’s way to protect the lives and safety of others, often under difficult and challenging circumstances.

This week also serves as a time to remember and honor those Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their bravery and commitment to service will never be forgotten.

The members of our Police Officers Association would like to thank our Officers, their families, and all law enforcement personnel for their unwavering dedication and professionalism. Your service to our community does not go unnoticed.

Yesterday evening, officers visited Pack 63 Scouts in Drums to teach the kids about fingerprinting, DNA collection, police tape procedures, shoe print analysis, and evidence markers. They also demonstrated how our drone is used in the field.

We appreciate the Scouts for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share this experience with the children!
