Earlier this month, Mark Tarpley, Emeritus Member of the AFA Board, traveled down to Lackland AFB to be an AIMS Ambassador.

We have an outstanding opportunity to influence the future of the Air Force and Space Force through our direct support for the BMT AIMS program. AIMS is an AFA program to Inspire Military Service. Weekly AFA Volunteers meet on Thursdays to welcome parents and family members to the AF/SF family and encourage them to share their wonderful experiences with their friends, neighbors, and associates.

This is a fun and rewarding Volunteer experience. However, we need AFA members to Volunteer. The time you dedicate to this effort will have lasting impacts well into the future of families and military families.

NOTE: There is a limited travel grant to help offset some of the travel costs.

As part of a NASA grant for STEM education received from ODAA, we worked with STARBASE to create these coins for the Fort Sill, Tulsa, and Weatherford campuses. They will be awarded to the top male and female students from each class.
