Drummond Island Elementary students are going to the Green Thumb in Cedarville to tour their greenhouses next Thursday, May 14th. We will be catching the 9:10 ferry, touring the greenhouse, having lunch at Ang-Gios and, then a walk on the Narnia Trail (weather permitting). We will catch the 2:40 ferry back. Thank you to the PVG for supporting our adventure!

Parents, guardians, and grandparents are invited to come to the school at 2:00 PM to enjoy some special reading time with your child. Afterward, stay for a fun ice cream social

With the forecasted weather and with school closed we moved our committee meeting to February 19th at 5:15 pm to discuss decorations and set up for Reading Month. Anyone can attend to help get us get our school ready for "Farm to Life" 📖🐷🐄 Please spread the word.

📚 Reading Month is Coming! 📚

Reading Month is almost here, and this March our classes will be reading Charlotte’s Web! To help make this special, we’re looking for volunteers to help us set up decorations.

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM
📍 Location: Drummond Elementary School

You don’t have to stay the whole time — even a couple of hours helps!
Need to bring your kids? That’s totally fine.
Have friends or family who want to help? Bring them along!
