🏁 RACE COMPLETE. HEARTS FULL. 🏁
What an incredible day of endurance, grit, and camaraderie at Outlast Austin.
We were honored to have paramedics from Austin-Travis EMS take on the day race, alongside two more paramedics and vision-impaired Veterans from Strive4U who pushed through the night race. Out of the four day-race participants, three outlasted and earned medals, and during the night race one vision-impaired Veteran and No One Fights Alone’s Director of Operations, Jacob Kendall—also a paramedic with Austin-Travis EMS—powered through to the finish to receive medals.
The day race was grueling—loose rock, steep drop-offs into a water canal, and a brutal climb back out. It tested the body and demanded the right mindset. As night fell, the challenge intensified. The night race added limited visibility to already unforgiving terrain, pushing each athlete deeper into mental toughness and resilience.
Hydration was made possible thanks to LMNT, and snacks were provided by No One Fights Alone to help keep our racers fueled and moving hour after hour.
A heartfelt thank you to Texas Outlaw Running Company for helping make this event possible.
As in all things, teamwork and camaraderie propelled each individual forward. This endurance challenge proved to be as much a mental battle as a physical one. With every passing hour, bodies screamed in rebellion—but fortitude, resilience, and purpose carried them through.
Whether they completed the entire race or part of it, every runner gave it their all and could walk away proud—knowing they achieved personal greatness while running for a cause bigger than themselves.
We are also proud to share that No One Fights Alone President, Michael Kendall, was out there running alongside these incredible athletes.
This is what it looks like when we come together.
This is what empowering through endurance truly means.
