We were able to recover this sweet girl today and get some answers and closure for this family. Last night’s sighting was not Zoey. These old pups do this sometimes. This is never the outcome we hope for, but grateful to be able to walk alongside them for the hard parts too. You were so loved, sweet dreams, pretty girl. ❤️‍🩹🌈🐾

Also grateful for our partnership with Fond Memories New Braunfels to be able to provide loving aftercare for these babies.

💔 Update: We found Zoey this afternoon. Not the outcome we hoped for but grateful it was us and not the family. All the love and hugs to Zoey’s family.

Back in Bulverde this morning for this girl! Had another sighting last night. Folks, if you’re in the area - PLEASE do not approach her. This sweet girl is a senior pup and needs medication. Time is of the essence! 🐾❤️‍🩹

Found in DS off Myers Creek Rd. Finder is Rebecca (832) 439-3738 if you recognize this girl. I’m headed over to scan for a chip now. **no chip, finder is holding tonight**

Update: Houston is hot.

Headed to Houston today for a Search & Rescue UAS training. It’s always interesting when it’s invitation only and all you have for the location are coordinates and a time. 🫣

Connected with Zoey’s family yesterday. 15 year old pup. Planned to come out this morning. Soooo glad our girl Bella cooperated last night! Flew the drone first thing out here, then posted up on the corner to make bacon. A neighbor stopped to inquire about why I was making bacon on the street corner like a high class hobo. 🤣 He said he saw Zoey last night! PERFECT! That’s exactly what we needed! Hopeful we can get this girl home! ❤️🐾

Bella, formerly Snapple from PAWS Shelter of Central Texas is safe! It was really weird to not have her in the trap after she was barking at the drone. But once we uncovered the mystery of the cat food, we got her!
