“Unless we learn to abide in His presence, the work of our hands is nothing.“ - Jacob Hancock

A night to celebrate what God has done and commission those He is sending.

Our Mountain Gateway Celebration & Commissioning Dinner brought together staff, Academy students, Mountain Gateway families, missionaries, interns, Wilderness Intensive instructors, and partner ministries for an evening of gratitude, fellowship, and celebration.

Together, we celebrated the graduation of our 2026 Academy cohort, commissioned missionaries and their families as they prepare to go, honored milestones among our staff, and commissioned our Academy students into what God has called them to do.

Every milestone represents lives surrendered, prayers prayed, and faithful obedience to the call of God.

We are reminded that this work has never been about us. It is about Jesus, His faithfulness, and the Gospel reaching the nations.

To every missionary, student, staff member, family, instructor, and ministry partner who has played a part in this mission: thank you for your yes.

We give all glory to God for what He has done, what He is doing, and all that is still to come.

The harvest is plentiful. The mission continues. And we will keep saying YES to wherever He sends us.

What was expected to be a small gathering of women turned into 350 women showing up for six hours.

During the event, women were invited to bring their pain, bitterness, shame, and disappointment to the cross, and let the finished work of Jesus speak louder than what they had been carrying.

We witnessed physical healings as women chose to forgive.

As we preached about the Holy Spirit, women encountered His presence in powerful ways. Many came forward to be filled and empowered to live as ambassadors of Christ.

All glory belongs to Jesus.

You say you want to be a missionary. Now what?
A heart for the nations is a good place to start, but it’s not where preparation ends.

You need to know God.
You need to know His Word.
You need to learn how to work hard, serve well, adapt, and lead.
And you need to be willing to step outside of what’s comfortable.

The mission field will require more than a desire to go.

Mountain Gateway Academy is a place to be forged, equipped, and prepared to carry the Gospel to the nations.
