We’re delighted to welcome Bonnie Eissler to the Board of The Friends Foundation. Bonnie has long been part of the Dripping Springs community and first experienced the heart of TFF when volunteers from Our Daily Bread delivered meals to her mother during a difficult recovery. That kindness left a lasting impression and inspired her to give back to seniors in our community.

"The volunteers who visited my mother brought more than a meal — they brought kindness and reassurance during a difficult time. That experience stayed with me, and joining The Friends Foundation feels like a meaningful way to give back."

Bonnie’s dedication to volunteerism and community engagement reflects the spirit of The Friends Foundation. Her service helps strengthen relationships and advance meaningful programs.

Music for the soul is one thing we routinely take to our local nursing home.

We wish you a special Memorial Day, and may you remember those who served and gave the ultimate gift to us all.

Independence doesn’t have to end early.

With the right support, seniors can remain independent longer — and families can feel confident knowing help is close by.

That’s one of the ways we impact our local 60+ neighbors. Do you know of someone who could benefit from our services?

We’ll say it plainly: We can’t do this without volunteers.
Every meal delivered, every check-in, every moment of connection with a senior in our community happens because someone chose to show up. And right now — we need more people willing to do just that.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is your moment.
Not someday. Not when life slows down.
Now.

Grace didn’t just join The Friends Foundation — she jumped in and never looked back. Some 20 years ago she volunteered and that’s when Our Daily Bread home meal service started.
With a strong belief in community and a collaborative spirit, she’s committed to helping TFF grow while staying true to its mission.

That’s how it starts. And that’s how lives get changed.
