The Sophia Coxe Memorial Foundation recently held its annual Mother's Day teas with a French-themed brunch on May 9th and 10th. 🫖🌸

Chef Tony O presented a special menu, which was well-received by all the guests in attendance.

A special thanks to Hazleton Area Garden Club member Chris G who provided floral arrangements and also our volunteers who helped make this a special weekend.

On Sunday, March 15th, the Sophia Coxe Memorial Foundation and Education Center hosted an authentic Ukrainian Pysanky egg decorating class inside the Historic Coxe House (circa 1869), located in Drifton, PA.

This old-world traditional class was given by our long-time instructors, the mother-daughter duo of Margie Bogash and Kristen Bogash Moy.

Refreshments, served by our in-house Chef, Tony O., consisted of freshly brewed raspberry-infused tea, egg salad croissants, Irish soda bread cookies, blueberry scones, and signature chocolate chip cookies -- all homemade.

All of the Pysanky eggs were finished and beautifully decorated and taken home by our guests to add to seasonal festivities. A wonderful time was had by all.

Our Gift Shop was also open, featuring one-of-a-kind pieces from the past, including works of art, jewelry, and odds and ends.

Come and experience our French cuisine at the Coxe House during out upcoming Mothers' Day brunch (May 9-10), from 2-4 p.m. both days. The cost is $45/person and reservations are required.
