🦷 Tiny teeth are a big milestone!
In honor of National Tooth Fairy Day, it’s a great reminder that healthy dental habits start long before the first tooth falls out.
Here are a few ways to help your baby’s smile stay healthy:
✨ Wipe your baby’s gums with a soft, damp cloth before teeth come in.
🪥 Begin brushing with a soft-bristled toothbrush as soon as the first tooth appears.
🥤 Avoid putting your baby to bed with a bottle, as prolonged exposure to milk or juice can increase the risk of tooth decay.
👩⚕️ Schedule your child’s first dental visit by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting.
😊 Make brushing part of your daily routine so it becomes a positive habit from the start.
Healthy smiles begin with healthy habits, and every little step makes a difference.
While Amnion Pregnancy Medical Care Center does not provide dental services, we’re always happy to help connect families with trusted community resources.
