We2gether creating change traveled to New Orleans to celebrate with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to celebrate the new culture prize winners.

Emmett Till Academy Cohort 4, staff and volunteers traveled to Washington, D.C. recently embarked on a meaningful journey to Washington, D.C., immersing themselves in the rich history of the nation’s capital. The trip was designed to provide an educational experience through visits to landmark historical sites that are central to understanding American history, particularly the civil rights movement.

During their visit, the group toured iconic locations such as the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and Six Flags. These visits offered a powerful opportunity for reflection, learning, and inspiration, deepening their commitment to educating future generations about the struggle for justice and equality.
