Our 8th Annual Charity Fundraiser Car Show is over and we surely had many beautiful cars. Participation was great, and we were able to raise $3000 for our Charities: St Jude's Children Hospital and the Shriners Transportation Fund. Each will receive a check for $1500 in memory of our members who passed in the last year and a half (14). Thank you to all who participated, took chances on the raffles and the 50/50, without you it wouldn't be possible. Also thanks to all the businesses that provided gift certificates for the raffle. Thanks to Carrie, who went and asked for the donations and to Tammy for the Razor 4 wheeler. All proceeds from the show go to our charities. Our club was founded in 1958, by men who enjoyed cars and the cause they chose to raise funds for was children in need. Two more years and we will have been around for 70 years.
