🎉 Big things are happening at The Next Step Programs! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Heather and Ocean, who used our Job Development Supports to prepare for and land a job in their communities.💜

Heather is now an Associate at GIANT, supporting customers, stocking and organizing shelves, and keeping her work areas clean.

Ocean is now a Teacher’s Assistant at The Learning Experience, supporting classroom upkeep, organizing supplies, and assisting with meals and snacks. Ocean also completed 25+ hours of training for their role!

These accomplishments represent hard work, dedication, and excitement for a brand new career path.

Explore participants always have a blast visiting our friends at the Doylestown Township Public Works! 🚜

On their recent visit, Dane, Kiran, and Luke got to check out the machinery and learn more about the work that gets done on a day-to-day basis. The group even got to enjoy a picnic lunch with members of the crew! 🥪🍎

What did our Explore groups get into this month? A little bit of everything. 👀

From community outings to new experiences and plenty of time spent together, here's your latest Explore Round Up!

🚒🧑‍🚒 We visited the Doylestown Fire Department and got to ask all of our questions about being a firefighter. We even got to try on the equipment!

🤝🌱 We've continued volunteering all around our community at places such as Washington Crossing Historic Park and Temple University Ambler.

🫶🫏 Being integrated in our community means making all kinds of different friends. From people to four-legged friends, there's always someone new to meet.
