About DCC Cares
DCC Cares is Doylestown Country Club’s philanthropic arm, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families in the greater Doylestown area by providing financial aid, promoting education, and supporting local charities. We strive to create a lasting positive impact through fostering community well-being, embodying the values of compassion, service, and commitment to our community’s growth and success.
The DCC Cares Board of Directors includes Ron Viehweger, Karen Graziano, Nik Heble, Chuck Brady, Mary Wellen, Jordan Meserole, and Tony Crecca. DCC Cares was formed in April and is in application for 501(c)(3) approval.
As a result of your collective generosity, each of the following 501(C)3 charities will receive donations from DCC Cares:
- Doylestown Hospital Cancer Center
- PGA REACH FOUNDATION
- CPT. Connor Bednarzyk USA Memorial Fund, 5 Foundation
- The Joel A. Gingras Jr. Memorial Foundation
- Friends of the Everglades
These charities were identified through the nomination process of our ten flight honorees, along with feedback from the MGA committee. We will continue to review and update the charities we support based on local need and feedback from members and employees at Doylestown Country Club. DCC Cares anticipates total start-up costs of approximately $5,000 to establish DCC Cares and apply for 501(c)(3) status. Most of this cost is legal fees to file with the State of Pennsylvania, the IRS, and to establish bylaws and operational procedures. Additional services will be required such as insurance, annual tax filing and other legal requirements. We will strive to minimize operational expenses to ensure that proceeds work hard to support charities in our area. If you would like to get involved or have ideas on local causes we can support together, please contact a board member or reach out to me directly.
A Special Thanks
