I want to introduce you to Georgia.💕
Georgia was diagnosed in the fall of 2019 with a granulosa cell tumor on her left o***y. Her surgery to remove the tumor was in December 2019 right after Christmas. At her follow up visit in January 2020 her gynecologic oncologist said the pathology report revealed a separate and unrelated 2nd type of ovarian cancer found on her right fallopian tube of her right o***y. As a result, Chemotherapy began immediately to attack these two types of ovarian cancers.

After two years of scans and bloodwork there was a recurrence in June 2022 and because of the two different types of ovarian cancer presented in 2020, the doctor didn’t know which to treat so she needed to undergo another exploratory surgery in August 2022 followed by 6 more rounds of chemotherapy.
Georgia is now in recovery and feels great about everything moving forward! 👏👏

We had the honor of presenting Georgia and her family a check to help them through the holidays to use for whatever was needed. We had the opportunity to tell Georgia and her family all about Patti, her great qualities & more of her story. We got the opportunity to hear more of Georgia’s story. This day was so meaningful to us all, and we couldn’t think of a better way to remember Patti and all her true goodness. 🫶🏼 This is something Patti would have loved, paying it forward to families who have very similar stories to hers. 💛🎗️
