On May 27th, the BCBA's Federal Courts Section hosted an evening of education, community, and celebration.

The event opened with "A Happy Law Clerk Leads to a Happy Judge" CLE featuring panelists Stuart Wilder, Catherine Dema, Nicholas Sweeney, and Caity Rogowski, who offered practical guidance on communicating effectively with judicial chambers and presenting arguments efficiently for judicial decision-making.

The CLE was followed by a Federal Courts Induction Ceremony, where Judge Cynthia M. Rufe proudly welcomed Maria Murray, Elizabeth Henning, and Lexie Bethman to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania bar. Congratulations to each of them.

The reception closed with a well-deserved recognition of The Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg (Ret.), former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
