The Bucks County Su***de Prevention Task Force, along with the Bucks Co. Dept of Behavioral Health & Developmental Programs & Lenape Valley Foundation is proud to offer Youth MHFA at no cost to participants! There are two dates available: Youth Mental Health First Aid (Tuesday, July 7th), and Adult Mental Health First Aid (Tuesday July 14th).

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and how to offer and provide initial help and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary.

Sessions are open to any member of the community, but seating is limited.

On May 12, Lenape Valley Foundation welcomed project partners, donors, and stakeholders to a VIP Preview Event at the Bright Path Center.

The event marked the completion of the facility ahead of its opening this summer and provided guests with an opportunity to tour the building and learn more about the vital services that will soon be available to the community.

Once open, the Bright Path Center will serve as a centralized hub for behavioral health care, offering walk-in crisis services, medical withdrawal management, peer support, care coordination, crisis residential programs and connections to community resources for children, adults, and families.

We're proud to share that Nicole Wolf, Director of Training & Education at Lenape Valley Foundation, recently partnered with Spirence to record two training modules focused on su***de prevention and crisis response.

Through these trainings, Nicole will help equip workplaces and communities with practical skills to recognize warning signs, start meaningful conversations, and connect individuals to support when they need it most.

The modules, Su***de Prevention: Awareness, Action & Connection, and Beyond Awareness: Practical Skills for Supporting Individuals in Crisis, reinforce a message we believe deeply at LVF: awareness, connection, and timely support can save lives.

Today, the Diversity Committee at Lenape Valley Foundation hosted Diversity Day at our Doylestown and Bristol locations! Staff came together to celebrate the many cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that strengthen our organization and the community we serve.

The committee hosted games and activities while providing information and delicious dishes from a variety of cultures from around the world. Thank you to our Diversity Committee and all who participated in making the day meaningful, welcoming, and fun!
