Today we wrapped up our week at camp! The Scouts finished up their final merit badge work, wrapped up a few last activities, and had some time to just have fun and enjoy the last day.

Tonight, we’ll gather around the closing campfire and celebrate a great week of Scouting, friendship, and adventure. Tomorrow morning, we pack up and head home!

Anorher Day at Goose Pond! 🏕️

The Scouting fun continues with another great day of activities led by the amazing Goose Pond staff. Our Scouts enjoyed sailing, biking, climbing, and rappelling—with plenty of adventure and new challenges along the way!

Day 3 is all about the adults who make this incredible week at camp possible! Today, our leaders served lunch to the entire camp and then enjoyed some fun of their own—out on the lake and up in the air zip-lining, climbing, and rappelling!

If you want to make a real impact on the lives of young people, consider volunteering as a Scout leader. The time commitment can be as little as an hour a week, but the impact you can make lasts a lifetime.

Day 2 at summer camp is in the books, and the fun continues! ATV riding, climbing, canoeing and swimming, including dives and rescue skills. After dinner, we gathered for Vespers to wrap up another great day at camp before most of the boys head out into the wilderness for their campout experience.

Both crews have safely returned to Base Camp, wrapping up an incredible two-week adventure at Philmont Scout Ranch!

Over the past two weeks, they hiked through the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains, challenged themselves on the trail, built lifelong friendships, and created memories that will last a lifetime. From long days on the trail to summiting peaks, participating in backcountry programs, and working together as a team, every step was an opportunity to grow in confidence, leadership, and resilience.

What an amazing experience this has been for everyone involved. Congratulations to both crews on completing an unforgettable Philmont trek—we're proud of each and every one of you. Welcome home! 🥾⛰️🏕️⚜️

Finally Crew #2 has checked in!

After spending several days exploring the Valle Vidal area, they were able to connect with Crew #1. It was great knowing both crews had the chance to see each other, even though the reunion will be a short one as they head in different directions tomorrow.

In just two days, both Crews will take on one of Philmont's biggest challenges—summiting Mt. Baldy at 12,441 feet! Wishing them clear skies, strong legs, and an unforgettable climb.

Keep cheering them on as they continue their incredible Philmont adventure! 🥾⛰️🌲

Received a check-in from Crew #1!

After leaving Base Camp on Saturday, they made their way to Elkhorn Camp for the night. Tomorrow they'll tackle a short 5-mile hike to Ponil. Cantina, church wagon dinner and horse rides await them.

The crew has smiles on their faces, spirits are high, and they are doing great. We're proud of their hard work and positive attitude as they continue their Philmont adventure through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Day 2 of our journey was packed with adventure!

We started the day at the summit of Pikes Peak, standing at an incredible 14,115 feet elevation and taking in some truly breathtaking views.

In the afternoon, we traded mountain peaks for river rapids and enjoyed an exciting white water rafting adventure.
