Troop 48 Begins the Adventure of a Lifetime!

Today, Troop 48 starts its journey to the legendary Philmont Scout Ranch!

Our crew departed Philadelphia and is heading west for an unforgettable high-adventure experience. Along the way, we'll be making some incredible stops, including the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the prestigious United States Air Force Academy.

Over the next several days, our Scouts will challenge themselves, build leadership skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime as they trek through the mountains of New Mexico.

Thank you to all the families, leaders, and supporters who helped make this adventure possible. Follow along as we share updates from the trail!

Adventure awaits! ⚜️🏕️⛰️

🇺🇸 Troop 48 at the Pennsylvania State Capitol!

Troop 48's Liam Molinari proudly represented our troop as he led Scouts from across Pennsylvania gathered today in the Main Rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol for the annual Scouting America Report to the Commonwealth event.

During their visit, Scouts had the opportunity to meet with state legislators, tour the House and Senate chambers, and share highlights of Scouting's impact and activities throughout the Commonwealth.

Events like these help Scouts develop leadership, citizenship, and a deeper understanding of how government works while showcasing the positive contributions Scouts make in their communities every day.

Congratulations to Liam for his leadership and for representing Troop 48 with pride! ⚜️🇺🇸

Today Memorial Day, Troop 48 proudly honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

As we gather today, we reflect on the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave everything for our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We are grateful for their legacy and proud to continue the tradition of respect and service in our community.

Troop 48 had an amazing weekend at Tobyhanna State Park!

Scouts spent the weekend sharpening their fly-fishing skills, practicing casting techniques, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. From peaceful time by the water to spotting local wildlife throughout the park and worling on Scouting skills, it was a great opportunity to learn, explore, and build memories together.

A big thank you to all the leaders who helped make the weekend a success!

Proud moment for our Scouts!

After months of dedication, reflection, and service, several Scouts have earned the Catholic religious emblems for youth in the Scouts BSA program — the Ad Altare Dei (AAD) Award and the Pope Pius XII Award.

These programs challenge Scouts to grow deeper in their faith, gain a stronger understanding of the sacraments, and explore how their beliefs guide their everyday lives and leadership.

Their commitment, hard work, and willingness to live out their faith truly stand out. Congratulations to all who achieved this meaningful milestone! 🙏⚜️
