September is a heavy month for our Post.

Sgt. Albert R. Atkinson, Jr. was killed in action on September 7, 1918 — just two months before the Armistice. Two months. The war was almost over.

He was one of four Atkinson brothers serving in Company G. The only one who didn't come home.

Every September, we carry that. And every September, we're reminded why this Post exists: because some gave all, and the rest of us promised to never forget.

On September 22, 2014, Post 210 welcomed home 160 World War II veterans returning from their Honor Flight "Tour of Honor" in Washington, D.C. Here, Jim shares a moment with WWII veteran Vincent — one of the many handshakes and thank-yous that filled the homecoming at Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA.

There are roughly 270 engraved bricks in our Path of Honor. Each one tells a story.

Thomas Tirney launched this project in October 2022 as a way for families to permanently honor a veteran's service. You walk past those bricks and you're walking through decades of sacrifice — WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.

Some bricks are for members who are still with us. Some are for those who aren't. All of them matter.
