Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes live on in the next generation.

Today, we honor the life, service, and lasting legacy of PO2 Andrew Magee Skinner, USN. 🇺🇸

Andrew served his country across multiple deployments, excelling both as a Navy Nuke submariner and a surface MM2. He loved the outdoors, was an avid hiker, a dog lover, and a craft b**r aficionado who looked forward to exploring new towns. He valued education and wanted to become a doctor after service, so he could continue his lifetime commitment to healing and serving others.

Andrew's passion for service continues through his surviving wife, Robyn. As TMF’s Senior Manager of Survivor Engagement, a TMF volunteer, and Character Does Matter Mentor, Robyn turns her own grief into profound purpose every single day. She works alongside families of the fallen nationwide, ensuring our survivor community has the tools, community, and support to thrive and lead. In honor of the 10th anniversary of Andrews’ passing, Robyn is currently training for an Ironman 70.3 alongside Veteran Mentor Chad Johnson. Service in action in Richardson, Texas. 🇺🇸

RTX employees, local veterans, and Richardson Independent School District members joined Travis Manion Foundation for a day of service at Math Science Technology Magnet Elementary.

Together, volunteers painted, sanded, cleaned up campus spaces, and improved indoor and outdoor learning environments to support students and educators as they started the new school year.

This project is part of TMF and RTX’s ongoing partnership, bringing veterans and employees together to put their passion for service into action and strengthen the communities where they live and work.

Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and helped create spaces where students and educators can learn, collaborate, and innovate.
