Today, something happened that really touched my heart. ❤️
I was in an area and this guy stopped me and said, “Ma’am.”
Of course, I tried to keep walking, but then I heard the Holy Spirit say, “STOP.”
So I stopped and said, “Yes sir?”
He said, “I don’t want any money. I just want something to eat.”
I said, “Of course.”
Then he said something that stayed with me…
“I wish I had a coat.” 😥
I immediately started looking through my trunk, hoping I had one I could give him. I looked and looked, but I couldn’t find one.
And that bothered me.
Not because I couldn’t give him a coat that day, but because I realized there are so many people out here who are cold, hungry, and simply trying to make it through another day.
That moment made something even clearer to me:
I don’t just want to talk about encouraging people. I want to put LOVE IN ACTION.
So TJayTheEncourager is starting a COAT DRIVE & More
I want to collect coats, blankets, warm clothing, hygiene items, food, and care bags to bless people who are homeless or less fortunate.
Because that man wasn’t asking for much.
He just wanted something to eat… and he wished he had a coat.
Sometimes God will put someone in your path to show you exactly where your next assignment is.
This is bigger than a coat.
This is about showing somebody they are not forgotten.
🧥 One coat.
🥪 One meal.
❤️ One act of kindness.
🙏🏽 One encouraging word.
