It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of Tulsa Police Officer Derrick Alexander. He passed away from natural causes early this morning.

Officer Alexander devoted nearly 33 years of dedicated service to the Tulsa Police Department and our community.

Throughout his career, he earned several awards and recognitions for his work with community policing. He truly loved working with local youth, and he made a huge impact on our schools, local groups, and the Department.

Officer Alexander’s dedication to the community and to all of us will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his friends, and everyone who worked alongside him.

We are working closely with his family. We will share details about a memorial service soon.

What a night at the legendary BOK Center.
SMOKE & GUNS 11 delivered another unforgettable night of action, heart, and brotherhood as Firefighters and Police Officers stepped into the cage and ring to battle for charity in front of an electric crowd.
After an intense night of MMA & Boxing wars… the Firefighters came out on top with the final team score:
🚒 FIRE — 8
🚔 POLICE — 5
From first-round finishes to all-out battles that went the distance, every competitor left it all on the line for something bigger than themselves. The energy inside the arena was unreal as fans witnessed courage, toughness, and pride from real-life heroes representing their departments and communities.
SMOKE & GUNS 11 was more than just a fight event — it was about giving back, honoring first responders and military members, and raising money for incredible charitable causes across Oklahoma.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our fighters, sponsors, volunteers, ring girls, production crew, law enforcement agencies, fire departments and every single fan that packed the arena and supported the Pay-Per-View across the country.
