On Aug 15th, Suffolk Lodge No.30 partnered with the “Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk” also known as C.A.P.S. And Magnolia Methodist Church to hold a Community Kitchen Dinner for families in need. During this dinner, members of Suffolk 30 and their families passed out back to school supplies and backpacks to school aged children. The supplies and backpacks were donated by the masonic lodge as part of scheduled charitable giving. There was also canned goods and clothes donated by CAPS and Magnolia Methodist Church.
We would like to send a THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support and help out! And especially to Bro. Jim Bennett for the use of his Slushi machine and Hotdog roller!!! They are always a big hit!
If you would like to donate to our community dinners and other charitable endeavors, please email [email protected] to find out the details!
