Elks Highlight Service, Community, and a Century of Legacy at the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade

Chicago, IL — On January 1, 2026, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will proudly participate in the world-famous Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, sharing a powerful message of service, compassion, and community with millions of viewers worldwide.

This year’s float design also helps celebrate one of the most iconic treasures in Elkdom: the 100th Anniversary of the Elks National Memorial and Headquarters Building. It is a moment a century in the making. In 2026, thousands of Elks from across the country will have the opportunity to gather in Chicago and stand where history itself resides.

Dedicated in 1926, the Elks National Memorial has stood for a century as a powerful symbol of peace, patriotism, and the unfailing generosity of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Rising 96 feet above the shores of Lake Michigan, the building is a masterpiece of American design—an enduring tribute to the men and women who served our nation, and to the Elks whose devotion to charity made its creation possible.

The Elks’ commitment to America’s youth remains strong. Lodges nationwide are reviewing thousands of scholarship applications and investing $5 million annually to help students pursue higher education. Through the Elks Community Investment Program, the Order will deliver $17.6 million in grants to strengthen neighborhoods, support families and seniors, fight hunger, and improve community safety. In 2024, Elks volunteers generated more than $531 million in charitable impact, a remarkable reflection of the Order’s 157-year legacy of service, patriotism, and compassion.

With nearly 800,000 members and close to 1,800 Lodges nationwide, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks continues to welcome American citizens age 21 and older who believe in God and share a commitment to serving others and strengthening their communities.
