Rewritten We believe that no young person should have to grow-up without a father and carry the burden of his absence alone. That's why ReWritten exist.

Fatherlessness creates a hole in the hearts of young men and women, one that they are desperate to fill. Without proper emotional support and guidance they are likely to fill that void with self-destructive behaviors paving the way for a future filled with pain and suffering. We want to help stop this. At ReWritten, we work to equip fatherless and underserved youth with the tools needed to become

thriving adults by offering personalized programming. We believe that when you provide a holistic, Christ-centered network of support around young men and women hoping for a better life, it will help shift the trajectory of their future towards one filled with unlimited potential for good. ReWritten is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization formed in 2013 as a direct response to the number of young people growing up in a largely fatherless community. We identify youths who are going to have a turbulent transition into adulthood and offer a positive support system that enables them to avoid pitfalls that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different at each level but the goal remains the same: empower the participant to make positive changes in their life. Statement of Faith:
We are Christian. Our Christian faith is at the core of who we are. We believe in one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe together, Jesus lived, died and rose again. Our desire is for Him to be central in our individual and corporate life. We hear His call to servanthood and commit ourselves to a servant spirit that permeates throughout ReWritten. We aim to follow Him in His compassion for the poor, oppressed, marginalized and fatherless. It is from His example we derive our holistic approach to loving and caring for the fatherless and underserved. We believe God designed all children, boy and girl to be loved by a mother and a father. Thus, we follow the example of Jesus by being a visible, tangible expression of the fatherhood of God, serving all children in need from any faith or no faith at all. We believe that no child, teen or young adult who walks through our doors is too hopeless because our hope is in Jesus.

Days before his second son was born, Samuel Sey realized he was standing in the exact place his father chose to walk away.

When A Fatherless Man Becomes A Father
By Samuel Sey, ReWritten Contributor

Worse than all of that, I realized that I was in a very similar situation that my father had been in when he chose to leave us. He was married to my mom, had one son already, and was expecting another (me) when fears of financial strain led him to choose to abandon his family. He left before I was born, and I’ve never even met him. There I was, a man haunted by the fear of becoming like his father, standing in the very position that made him a ghost. It felt like fate. Was I doomed to repeat the cycle?

You stayed. Lives changed.

Because of your support in 2025, more than 100 lives were impacted through the mentorship you made possible. This year was not just about programs. It was about healing and growth in the lives of young people who needed someone to take the time to show up again and again.

Through your investment, 78 fatherless young people and 29 single mothers experienced the steady presence of a mentor committed to helping restore what fatherlessness had fractured. Week after week, mentors remained present offering guidance, accountability, and care to young people navigating real challenges.

In 2025, you invested over $300,000 into ReWritten, fueling consistent, relationship-based mentoring for youth, directly supporting single mothers who needed someone to stay.

Because of your generosity, struggling youth were consistently reminded of the fatherhood of God through the presence, care, and commitment of their mentors. That love brought restoration and created space for real transformation, helping boys and girls move toward the thriving lives they were created to live.

Across 36 different cities throughout the United States, from San Bernardino to Houston to the Bronx, young people showed up for mentoring sessions and workshops, both in person and virtually. Each time, they were reminded that God brings beauty from ashes and that their story is not finished.
That is the impact your financial generosity made through ReWritten in 2025, measured not just in dollars, but in lives steadily changed, one mentoring session at a time.

Thank you.

A special thank you to all of our community partners in 2025.

As 2025 comes to a close, we are pausing to reflect on what your generosity has made possible.

Because of faithful donors like you, ReWritten provided Christ-centered mentoring support to fatherless and underserved youth throughout this year.

Young people who once lacked consistent guidance received regular on-going, caring support from mentors. Small groups became safe spaces. One-on-one mentoring relationships created room for trust, accountability, and hope to grow.

Your giving funded life skills workshops, practical help for participants, and intentional mentoring environments where youth could be seen, known, and encouraged. Each gift directly supported the time and structure required to walk alongside a young person who is navigating life without a father’s presence.

As the year ends, we invite you to consider a year-end gift to ReWritten.

An end-of-year donation extends mentorship into the coming months and year. It ensures that a young person does not lose access to a trusted mentor, a consistent group or a Christ-centered voice when they need it most. For some youth, that consistency can be the difference between isolation and connection, between giving up and choosing to keep going.

When you give, you are not just funding programs. You are investing in relationships that help rewrite stories marked by loss, instability, and absence.

End 2025 knowing your generosity placed a lifeline in the hands of a young boy or girl who is fighting to rise above fatherlessness.

Your gift has impact. Your gift has purpose. Your gift helps change lives.
