Black History — Do You Know Your History?

We must study our own history so that we can tell the true story ourselves. We cannot allow others to shape the narrative for the next generation when it’s ours to share.

If we don’t, we’ll continue to receive watered-down versions — weak and unofficial — instead of the powerful truth that deserves to be told. The City of Rome, and Floyd County - has layers and layers of local Black History untold - get to know your OWN History!
