Today is the last day of the UK CHANGE team as today is Destiny’s last day at the UK College of Nursing. To Destiny, thank you for not just for being here from the beginning, but most importantly, for being a stellar example of what a high commitment to health equity and community engagement looks like.

The Fit and Faithful project would not have been successful without her hard work and dedication, and we wish Destiny all the best in future endeavors — we know greatness goes where she goes! 🙌🏾💙

To our Community Advisory Board, thank you so very much for your hard work and presence over the years. The work we’ve been able to accomplish at the University of Kentucky over the years would not be possible without those sitting around this table. Just back from the Southern Nursing Research Society conference in Austin, Texas! Dr. Williams had an amazing time presenting a workshop on staying current with research guidelines and networking with fellow researchers. , it's always a pleasure!

We’re proud to celebrate our own Dr. Jean Edward, who was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing! 💙

Dr. Edward is an Associate Professor and PhD Program Director at the UK College of Nursing () and a Nurse Scientist with UK HealthCare’s Markey Cancer Center. Her work focuses on promoting equity in healthcare access, affordability, and outcomes for underserved communities.

We’re honored to have her as part of the CHANGE Team. 💙 Congratulations, Dr. Edward!
