LIFE BY MUSIC (LBM) is a 501c3 committed to creating positive change through music education programs, instrument donations and music scholarships for kids, teens and veterans. LBM believes in the transformative power of music to inspire, heal and bring people together in a way that fosters healthy self-expression and collaboration. We work with at-risk schools, struggling music programs, foster h

omes, after-care programs and veterans' groups to design specialized music education programs in supportive and enriching environments. Our goal is to use music and the arts to foster life skills that support mental health and improve emotional resilience. Through our instrument donations, we strive to ensure that every student, regardless of circumstance, has access to the instruments they need to unlock their creative potential. Our music scholarships empower talented students by removing financial barriers and enabling them to pursue their passion for the arts. Through our initiatives, we seek to create a symphony of positive change that lifts us up and connects us to community.

Two weeks ago, we celebrated 10 years of Life By Music in one of the most unique ways possible — with the 4th annual Rock N Run 5K at Sunset Park!

How many races can say they had the Las Vegas Academy Jazz Band shredding and serenading runners right on the course?!?

Thank you to everyone who came out to run, walk, volunteer, sponsor, perform, and support. Your energy, enthusiasm, and belief in our mission helped make this event a memorable part of Life By Music’s 10-Year Anniversary Celebration.

For a decade, you’ve helped us put instruments and music resources into the hands of at-risk youth and veterans, and weekends like this remind us just how powerful this community is.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of you — and we’re more inspired than ever for what’s ahead.

📍Sunset Park
⏰Registration opens 7AM, Please arrive at 7AM
🏃‍♂️Race begins at 8AM

We will be located in the SOUTH-end of the park.

Where to Park:
Enter off Eastern Ave., at the south-most entrance.
NOT near the pickelball courts.
Entrance is between the crosswalk and the railroad tracks.
Look for the “ROCK N RUN” sign.
Once you pull in, head straight, you’ll see us.
