Summer season is about so much more than winning—it is about ʻohana, legacy, history, and remembering our Hawaiian roots. For those who are not Hawaiian, it is an opportunity to learn, respect, and embrace the beauty of the Hawaiian culture.

It is about building relationships, growing together, supporting one another, and becoming one strong team. Medals may eventually tarnish or become lost, but the memories we create and the bonds we build will last forever.

Keola O Ke Kai is more than a canoe club. We are an ʻohana—and that is what we will always be about. 💙🌊

Not only are we blessed to be part of an association rich in Hawaiian culture and traditions, , but we are also incredibly blessed that our two pride and joys get to paddle in their home waters of Keʻehi for the OHCRA Championship Race.

Our waʻa are never complete without its keiki. They are the heart of our club and the future of our culture. Without our Keola ʻOhana, we are not whole.

Mahalo to every paddler, coach, volunteer, parent, and supporter who has helped make Keola O Ke Kai what it is for the past 25 years. Here's to many more years of memories, lifelong lessons, and continuing to paddle forward together as one big ʻohana. 🤎🌊🚣
