Troubles are learning grounds. Stop to appreciate the opportunity of growth and development that we've attained from them. Ask the Heavenly Father: "What am I to experience in this moment now?" Listen to what comes to your spirit and give praise for this moment now in your life. It is not the storm that is troubling, it does what it came to do "for you". If it is hurt, tell hurt, "I appreciate your energy and experience. Thank you for all that you have taught me. I love that I am stronger, wiser, more powerful, and have the opportunity of transforming my life, and inspiring others to realize a life transformation. Thank You hurt for all that you have done in my life. Now you may go. It's all good. (Happy to have met your acquaintance)."
A British friend of mine, created an excercise called the NPA Process by Joel Young. At first I questioned the process as I didn't want to "affirm" in my life what I was wanting to let go. One day, I finally GOT IT! I visioned myself in a corridor or narrow hallway and pictured "fear" (for example) as a person passing by in the opposite direction. I pictured, me at one time passing fear by and acknowledging it with a nod - letting it pass by freely. Then, I pictured me walking up to fear and restling with it to the ground. That's when I got it! Why wouldn't I just allow for "fear" to pass by. That's all it wanted to do. Instead, I would choose to restle with it - holding on to it, getting angry because it crossed my path? What for? Or, how about holding on to "anger" and inviting myself to the coffee shop with fear and all of it's cousins (e.g., fear, lieing, deciept, gossip)? No! I'll pass. I'd rather not, wouldn't you rather not? Of course! So, in this moment now, I invite you to this healing excercise for letting go of the pain and hurt that has derived from your circumstance:
"This energy of hurt (for example),
This pure energy of hurt, is not personal, This pure energy of hurt is not personal, and I am willing to experience it."
That's it! Listen, I promise you that if you say this to whatever it is that you are dealing with that you find "negative" in your life (a few times a day is ok), you will begin to find peace regarding. Gain a new perspective, as that thang or situation has been given to you "really" for your good. Document what you've learned in the space that you're in. Take a look at YOU, as it is for you....regardless of whatever. Therefore, there is an area that you are to grow and development.
