Happy Labor Day! Today we celebrate the volunteers, staff and supporters whose hard work helps keep pets fed and with the people who love them.

This week we will host six pet food pantries in Colorado! You are welcome to attend any of these distributions. Clients are able to receive pet food once out of every three months.

Monday, September 7th, we will be at Mancos FoodShare:
Mount Lookout Grange, 680 Grand Avenue, Mancos on the first Monday of the month from 3-5PM

Wednesday, September 9th, we will be at Denver Inner City Parish:
1212 Mariposa Street, Denver on the second Wednesday of the month from 9:30-10:30 AM (NEW END TIME)

Thursday, September 10th, we will be at:
Sister Carmen Community Center: 655 Aspen Ridge Dr, Lafayette on the second Thursday of the month from 9:30-11 AM
Aurora Interfaith: 1553 Clinton St, Aurora on the second Thursday of the month from 11AM-12:30PM

Friday, September 11th, we will be at Broomfield FISH:
6 Garden Center, Broomfield on the second Friday of the month from 12-2PM (NEW PANTRY LOCATION & NEW TIME)

Saturday, September 12th, we will be at St. Michael Catholic Church:
1016 Mystic Ave, Cañon City on the second Saturday of the month from 10AM-12PM

Colorado Pet Pantry will be pouring cocktails at two booths during the Denver Highlands Oktoberfest on Saturday Sept 12 and we need several more volunteers for this really fun event! All tips are donations to the pet food bank and it’s a great opportunity to help many pets, and a favorite of many volunteers! Volunteers Needed in Greeley

We have a big need for volunteers at our Greeley pet food pantry at Weld Food Bank on Wednesday, September 16th from 8:15AM–11:30AM.

We need a Database-trained volunteer to help register and check in clients, someone to direct traffic, and additional volunteers to distribute pet food. No previous experience is needed for traffic or food distribution, and our regular team will help you get started.

One of our trusted partners in the Animal Welfare world needs help September 10th through 13th in Cortez, Colorado. Bergen Spay and Neuter Alliance is having a clinic and they need volunteers!

**Pet Food Pantry Update**

Due to Labor Day, our Alamosa pet food pantry in partnership with La Puente's Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley & Humane Colorado, will take place one week later on Monday, September 14th.

We will distribute pet food from 12–2PM at the Alamosa County Fairgrounds, 8784 Old Sanford Rd.

We are thrilled to announce that Raise the Woof raised more than $166,000—enough to feed 33,200 dogs and cats in Colorado for one month!

We are so deeply grateful for everyone who made this possible. Thank you to our sponsors, in-kind contributors, donors, auction donors, guests, bidders, board members and everyone who supported the event. And thank you to the volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly to bring it all to life.

Whether you celebrated with us on the Wooftop or supported us from home, your generosity made this an extraordinary night and will help us continue keeping Colorado pets nourished, loved and with their families.

Our volunteers are just wrapping up this morning’s pet food pantry at Bienvenidos Food Bank, and we got to meet some pretty great pets and their people along the way!

Chelsea’s mom visited us for the first time today, and Rhonda stopped by for food for her three kitties, Carly, Dora and Marbles. She shared a message from them: “My cats thank you and their bellies are full.”

Terri picked up food for Leo, her 4-year-old black cat, and shared a photo of him with us too. “Leo is really particular so I am grateful that the pantry provides good food to him. Thanks for being here!”

And Timmy stopped by for pet food and sent us a photo of their cat, Spike.

Clients were able to take home some wonderful food this morning, including Royal Canin, Applaws Pet Food and "I and love and you", generously donated by our partners.

And, of course, we have to give some love to the volunteers who made this morning possible. We love this team and all of the volunteers who show up for pets and families across Colorado! ❤️

We were so honored to have some celebrities at our pet food pantry at Resource Center yesterday. We had the "mascots of Golden" (ok, maybe unofficially🤣) Naomi, Maya, and Cheyenne, as well as service dog Wolf, "the best dog I’ve had in my life” according to his unbiased mom. And clearly the cutest pups Caley and Coraline. Not sure if we've said this lately, but BEST VOLUNTEER GIG EVER - look at all the celebs you get to meet!
