WE’RE LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED VOLUNTEER! 🌈

The Stow-Munroe Falls LGBTQ Crew is growing, and we could use an extra set of hands to help us continue making a positive impact in our community!

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, dedicated, creative, and passionate about bringing people together. This person would help with planning and organizing approximately one event per month, along with supporting community outreach efforts like food drives, service projects, and other opportunities to give back.

What we’re looking for:

* Must be 18+
* Friendly, dependable, and committed to following through
* Willing to help brainstorm, plan, and organize events
* Comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds
* Passionate about creating welcoming, inclusive spaces
* Able to commit less than 10 hours per month

This is a volunteer position, so we understand that life gets busy! We’re simply looking for someone who genuinely wants to be involved, can consistently lend a hand, and shares our passion for building community.

You don’t need any special experience; just a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to showing up!

Come one, come all, to the faerie market & carnival! 🎪

Don your best fantasy frock and join us Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for our fourth annual Books & Dragons 2026: Faerie Market & Carnival, an all-ages event inspired by tabletop role-playing games. 🐉

Travelers will quest through the library on an immersive scavenger hunt, enjoy themed crafts, activities, snacks, and opportunities to play a one-shot session of Dungeons & Dragons. Shop at our Faerie Vendor Market to commemorate the occasion with themed merchandise.

Adult, teen, and child adventurers of all ages and experience levels are welcome.

✨ What to Expect ✨

Upon arrival, begin your quest on the library’s lower level.
You and your adventuring party (aka your friends/family) will receive a map, choose from pre-made characters, then journey through the stacks to find various Dungeons & Dragons-inspired encounters. Your party will roll the dice to best villains and find “magic” to aid you on your quest.

No registration is required to attend.
