Join us for Sod & Stubble Days in Downs, KS on July 18 as we celebrate the story, the book, and the movie.
⭐️Tour the house where Sod & Stubble was filmed
⭐️ Meet and Greet select cast and crew
⭐️Special appearances by R.W. Hampton and Mitch Holthus
⭐️Special screening of Home on the Range and Sod & Stubble at Downs Memorial Hall

Tickets will be purchased on site. $10/person, $25/family.

We hope to make this an annual tradition as we support the people who are at the heart of this wonderful story.

Members of the Historical Society will have the Depot and the archive room open for alumni to visit during the Celebration. Hours will be Friday 2-5, Saturday 10-12 and 1-3. Bathrooms will be available also. Or just stop in to cool off.

The Historical Society will meet this Sunday, April 19 at 2:00 at the Depot. Sweeping up dead flies and dusting are on the agenda!

Dues of $15.00 are due for 2026.

Sunday January 25th scheduled meeting has been canceled due to the weather. Our next meeting will be Feb. 22 at the library.
