Sow Good Now is excited to participate in Beyond the Game with Eagles Greats on November 5 in Downingtown!

Philadelphia Eagles greats Seth Joyner, Brent Celek, and Todd Herremans will share lessons about leadership, teamwork, and perseverance, the same qualities we encourage our student-athletes to demonstrate through community service.

With our office located in Downingtown, we are especially excited to support an event that brings together sports, leadership, and the community we call home.

Vidushi Gupta is helping Sow Good Now make an impact and share the stories behind it!

Raising the Roof nominee, Vidushi led a GiveBack with Applecross Golf Academy in partnership with The Parkesburg Point, bringing young people together through golf and service.

Beyond the event, she has supported our press releases, researched local news outlets, and interviewed student athletes and athletic partners to write stories highlighting their community impact.

We’re grateful for the initiative, creativity, and care she brings to this work and proud to celebrate her nomination through Raising the Roof in partnership with O’Donnell Roofing!

Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program encourages businesses and individuals to support educational programs by offering state tax credits for qualifying contributions. Through an approved Special Purpose Entity, businesses can participate in EITC while supporting organizations like Sow Good Now.

Instead of thinking of EITC simply as a tax program, we see it as an opportunity to strengthen communities. Contributions help Sow Good Now expand youth sports philanthropy programs that give young people access to positive role models, equipment, experiences, and opportunities to develop confidence and leadership skills.

Yousif Albazaz is making a difference beyond the football field! We’re proud to celebrate this Great Valley High School athlete’s nomination for the Raising the Roof program, recognizing his leadership and commitment to giving back.

Through the GVHS Football GiveBack with KB Foundation, Yousif helped bring athletes together to connect with and encourage younger students.

A Qualified Charitable Distribution allows eligible IRA owners to direct funds from an IRA to a qualified charity such as Sow Good Now. When requirements are met, the distribution may be excluded from federal taxable income and may also count toward an applicable Required Minimum Distribution.

Pennsylvania businesses already have state tax obligations. Through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit, or EITC, eligible businesses may be able to redirect a portion of those tax dollars toward approved educational organizations while receiving significant Pennsylvania tax credits.

For Sow Good Now, those contributions help create more opportunities for young people to learn through sports, mentorship, leadership, and service. EITC gives businesses a way to connect an existing financial obligation with meaningful investment in Pennsylvania communities.
