At Unsworth, we believe that strong character is just as important as academic success. During Character Counts Week, students will participate in activities and classroom discussions focused on the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness💙, Respect💛, Responsibility💚, Fairness🧡, Caring❤️, and Citizenship💜.
Throughout the week, students will have opportunities to practice these important values through lessons, school wide activities, positive interactions with their classmates and staff, and participate through the attached dress up days.

Our goal is to help students develop the skills and habits that support success both in and out of the classroom.

We encourage families to join us by talking with your child about these character traits and recognizing examples of positive character at home. Working together, we can help our students grow into respectful, responsible, and caring members of our community.

En Unsworth, creemos que el carácter fuerte es tan importante como el éxito académico. Durante la Semana de Recuento de Personajes, los estudiantes participarán en actividades y discusiones en el aula centradas en los seis pilares del carácter: Confiabilidad💙, Respeto💛, Responsabilidad💚, Equidad🧡, Cuidado❤️ y Ciudadanía💜.

A lo largo de la semana, los estudiantes tendrán oportunidades de practicar estos importantes valores a través de lecciones, actividades en toda la escuela.
Trabajando juntos, podemos ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a convertirse en miembros respetuosos, responsables y solidarios de nuestra comunidad.

This years theme is "What My Culture Means to Me."🌍

Calling all Unsworth Suns artists, writers, photographers, musicians, dancers, and filmmakers! Let's show everyone how creative Unsworth Suns can be!💛💜🔆

Your idea doesn't have to be complicated - it just needs to be YOUR Own creation and YOUR interpretation of the theme: "What My Culture Means to Me."🌎

We can't wait to see how you express this year's reflection theme and amazing creations!😎
