Create the New Jerusalem (part 5)

hidden for so long
holding all human tears
in her heart
deep as the ocean where all rivers
come to meet

revealed if you search
between the lines of holy books
yet missed
for the emphasis
on the patriarchal view

the comfort and wisdom
found firing up
the soul of the thirsty
yet not knowing clearly
its origin

her hidden tears
and pain as she waits
for the day when she can rise
like the bright beam
of a lighthouse

giving birth
to all the children of God
as one with her husband
bringing about the new heaven
and earth

Create the New Jerusalem (part 3)

the blue jay has called the birth
of a new day
to let the land know
that the darkness
is in recess

the past winter's
deadly grip has slipped
into the river
taking with it all the debris left
by its icy breath

spring rains
had seen to the raise
of a courage unsurpassed in all souls
had healed all the past pains
with the rains

and the land bloomed
with the new aroma
for to them a Son had been born
and there enters
the long awaited Daughter ...

in the fabric of heaven
the Parent's broken heart
only the children together
can fix it

a tear
in the heart of Heaven
a lost child
only parents must come
to fix it

"Godgal" Caroline began writing poetry in 2005 and have become a prolific writer thanks to the mentorship of expert writers such as
– Caroline Devonshire,
former teacher and journalist,
– Syed Amaan Ahmad,
Author, Publisher, Artist and Play producer,
– Don Standeford,
Novelist and Author of many short stories and poems (www.writingcommunity.com),
– Michael Dylan Welch,
expert in the Japanese genre of poetry such as haiku, and tanka (www.graceguts.com).

In 2013, Caroline published her first poetry book, "In Search of the Divine, book 1: Awakening".
She has been published in and recognized as a poet by the International Library of Poetry.
More books of poetry are forthcoming.

I am also an artist, painting my poetry.

I was born in Renaix, Belgium, found God in 1976, joined the Unification Movement May 1st, 1977.
In 1978, she have resided in England for 2 1/2 years, where she volunteered in educational programs for young people and also served the communities where she had resided in.
At the end of 1980, she moved to the US.
I married my husband, Stan at Madison Square Garden in a mass wedding performed and blessed by the Rev. & Mrs Sun Myung and Hak Ja Han Moon in 1982, and am the proud mother of 6 Children, all grown, and am the grandmother of 4 girls and 1 boy. I reside with my family in Southern California.

through my thoughts
I hear the rise
of an ocean’s groaning
and a wave quite large
rises far

the wave
tumbles and rolls
toward me its edge
bubbling white
like a bright smile

slowly the smile
thins and its seems
to choke as if holding back
tears
still coming toward me

its eyes
therein meets mine
its hope sun sparked converged drops
stretches even thinner and comes to expire
I in its embrace

and I know her love so deep
now the one who holds the key
is me
her kiss on my feet
enters my bones, and I leap …

Creating the New Jerusalem (part 1)

when I see your eyes
I find myself swim
a diver
scuba diving deeper
into the depth of the ocean

the lower I go
the greater the freedom I find
for the options
I come across help me
overcome the fear of the unknown

descending plateaux
of ocean smoothed surface
its flora
ever waving to currents
love is in the dance

Mother ocean
the womb of life
to creating
a thriving planet
all connected to its Source

yet out of
the hard to reach places
before even my ears
my heart hears a song of lament
for the plundering of human failure

in the depth of this womb
lies the pain
of having lost children
and in this way you feel the pain
of all the children lost …

however
you hold the key
to the turning point
for a better future
it comes out of the heart
