SUNDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA
Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
On Corpus Christi, we contemplate the Body and Blood of Christ as we listen to Jesus’ words in today’s Gospel from John 6:51-58:
“Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.”

St. Josemaria writes, “It is God waiting for us, God who loves man, who searches us out, who loves us just as we are - limited, selfish, inconstant, but capable of discovering his infinite affection and of giving ourselves fully to him.” -Christ is Passing By, no. 151

FIRST SATURDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA
St. Josemaria reflects on the humility of Our Lady when he wrote that “Mary is the creature who has carried out God’s will most perfectly. She has corresponded to grace in the fullest possible way, and so she is the Queen of Peace” (Christ is Passing By, no. 139).

In Mary we learn that peace grows in the same measure as our union with God deepens. Her example reminds us to pray, stay humble, and remain open.

Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us!

FIRST FRIDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA
“The source of all grace is God’s love for us, and He has revealed this not just in words but also in deeds.” (Christ is Passing By, no. 162)

The Gospel reminds us, “God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5)

Christ is always pursuing our hearts, always inviting us deeper. Christ came not only to reveal the Father’s love, but also to remain with us and draw us into that divine life every day. Jesus has not and will never be absent to us. See how far His love came to us and remains with us especially in the Holy Eucharist!

May you allow your heart to be pursued by Christ and ask Him to be with you in every moment of every day because He truly is always with you.

“That Christ has come to us with a heart made of flesh tells us a lot about how the Sacred Heart loves us, and about the kind of love we need. We are loved by any number of hearts during our earthly lives, but one alone among them we call Sacred. We know how it feels to be loved by fallen people—by those who try, but cannot love perfectly. But what it is to be loved by a Sacred Heart?”

In our featured article, Fr. John Henry Hanson, O. Praem. invites us to reflection during this month dedicated to the Sacred Heart.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, … teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age” (Mt 28:19-20).

In this week’s podcast, we revisit a mediation shared by Fr. Leo Austin, on the treasure of Christ, present in the Eucharist, and how we can become a living tabernacle in the world today. He draws our attention to the moments prior to the Ascension as Christ shares with his disciples the Great Commission.

This powerful message is an invitation from Christ to participate in his salvific work, drawing all men and women toward Heaven.

📖 New Month, New Book!
This month, we are reading the homily “Finding Peace in the Heart of Christ” by St. Josemaria Escriva.
In this homily, St. Josemaria invites us to seek true peace in a close and trusting relationship with Christ. He reminds us that lasting peace is not found in external situations, but in turning our hearts toward Jesus, especially amid daily struggles and concerns.

He encourages us to deepen our prayer life and to place our confidence in God’s love, discovering that Christ is always ready to welcome us and give us true rest.

“He did not come to condemn us, to accuse us of meanness and smallness. He came to save us, pardon us, excuse us, bring us peace and joy. If only we realize the wonderful way in which God deals with his children, our hearts must change. We will see opening up before us an absolutely new panorama, full of relief, depth and light.” -Christ is Passing By, no. 165

As you read along, we invite you to share your thoughts, questions, favorite quotes, etc., with us on Facebook and Instagram .

SUNDAY REFLECTION WITH ST. JOSEMARIA

On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the Gospel calls us to believe in Christ Jesus whom God gave us out of love for our eternal salvation (John 3:16-18).

📖 Reflection

“Let me begin by reminding you of something Saint Cyprian tells us: The universal Church is a people which derives its unity from the unity of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. It is not out of place therefore to preach about the Church on this feast of the most Blessed Trinity. The Church is rooted in this fundamental mystery of our Catholic faith: the mystery of God who is one in essence and three in persons.

The Fathers all see the Church as centered in the Trinity. Look how clearly Saint Augustine puts it: God then dwells in his temple. Not only the Holy Spirit but also the Father and the Son… Therefore, the holy Church is the temple of God, the temple of the entire Trinity.

[...] Another marvelous aspect of the Church...the marks of the Church...We confess that there is only one Church which is holy, catholic and apostolic.

All those who have truly loved the Church have known how to relate these four marks to the doctrine of the Blessed Trinity, which is the most ineffable mystery of our faith. We believe in the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church of God, in which we receive the faith. In her we know the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

We need to meditate frequently on the fact that the Church is a deep, great mystery, so that we never forget it.”

Saturdays with Our Lady

“In a very natural way we start wanting to speak to the Mother of God, who is also our mother. We want to treat her as someone who is alive. For death has not triumphed over her; she is body and soul in the presence of God the Father, her Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
