IL IT LEx offers schools an easy way to connect with businesses, and other organizations, as well as other resources to help further their knowledge of IT and IT careers for students, parents and staff. There are great resources for IT curriculum, tech news and trends, and some best practice ideas around work-based learning. As a teacher you could also find professional development resources as well as events/conferences to improve not only your skills but your students as well. The IL IT LEx also allows you to post materials and events you believe that will be beneficial to other schools. STUDENTS
The IL IT LEx is the perfect tool; there are so many cool resources for you! As a student, you can find info about why IT is a great career area, after school programs and summer camp opportunities. The IL IT LEx can take you far and help you develop the skills needed for a career in IT as well as connect you with many influential people along the way. BUSINESSES
IL IT LEx is looking for businesses to help provide schools and students with opportunities for IT work-based learning. This learning exchange is great place for you to post any events that you would like to get out to the public! Events such as technology competitions and hackathons where students and or IT teachers can participate are great examples of material you can post. The IL IT LEx is also a great place for you to connect and set up events with schools around Illinois.
