As winter approaches, many homeless veterans will be relying on the generosity of our community to stay warm. In preparation for Stand Down Days in November, we are organizing an October collection of winter clothing items, including coats, hats, and gloves. We kindly request that you consider donating gently used or new winter items from your closet or a recent purchase. Additionally, we have partnered with several local restaurants where you can drop off your donations and enjoy a meal. Your support will make a significant difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

It mkes sense that when you donate a coat, hat, gloves, and/or scarves, you take a break and enjoy some tasty food from one of our business partner's locations. It's the entire month of October so you have a lot of dates to choose from. But don't forget to bring an item to donate for the homeless veterans.

It was a perfect morning for our Done In a Day trail maintenance at Lyman Woods. Nothing like further beautifying our town with fellow Rotarians to start the weekend.
