Our vision has become reality at the Downers Grove Township Center! 5 years ago in March we opened the doors after outfitting the center with all the furniture, window shades, coffee makers, kitchen equipment, televisions and sound system.
It looks just like we had planned! The folks enjoying it are so happy to have a place of their own.
The ping pong table was a complete surprise- donated by a good friend, it caught on like wildfire, to the point where the Township had to buy two more tables! We weren’t sure it would be a hit, but in retrospect it makes perfect sense, given the fact that it is the ping-pong generation who most often frequent the DG T Center. Competition is fierce!
