Elijah Morris Alexander was born May 24, 2012 to elated parents, Jeff & Amber (narrator). Elijah has always been a fighter and even though he has been tiny - born at only 6lbs & 5 oz - he has been mighty in spirit and will. On Wednesday, November 26, 2014, Elijah was sent for a CT scan that revealed a 3.6 x 4.4 cm mass in the fourth ventricle of his brain, near his cerebellum and brainstem. He und

erwent surgery at the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2014 and the tumor was completely removed with clean margins according to an MRI taken the following day. On Thursday, December 4, 2014, it was determined that Elijah's tumor was a medulloblastoma, a very aggressive, malignant form of cancer that would require follow-up treatment with chemotherapy. Since news of Eli's condition broke, hundreds of people all over the country have been praying for Eli and our family. He loves the Chicago Blackhawks, the Bears, the Cubs and Notre Dame.
