The Companions and Sir Knights of York Rite at J.F. Swartsel pause to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

This is not simply the beginning of summer or a long weekend. It is a day set aside to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to this nation and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As Masons, we are taught the values of duty, sacrifice, faith, and service to others. Memorial Day reminds us that liberty has always carried a cost, paid for by generations who answered the call with courage and devotion.

May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for God, Country, and Freedom.

From all of us at York Rite at J.F. Swartsel, we wish you and your families a meaningful and reflective Memorial Day.

The 2026 Annual Convention is officially in the books, and without question, our York Rite bodies are now on the map.
This year’s convention was a tremendous success and a proud reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our Companions and Sir Knights. Our presence was felt throughout the jurisdiction.
We are especially proud to recognize our two Grand Line officers pictured here, whose leadership and service continue to move our bodies forward. Alongside them, receiving four awards at convention is proof that hard work, teamwork, and vision still matter.
The future is bright, and this is only the beginning. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this possible. Together, we continue building something worthy of pride and remembrance.

Today is Fish Fry Day at the lodge!

Our monthly Fish Fry has become one of the highlights of fellowship at the lodge. It is always a great opportunity to enjoy good food, spend time with friends old and new, and support a meaningful cause in our local community.

Best of all, every dollar raised goes directly toward local charitable efforts and community support programs. Events like this remind us what Masonry is all about — fellowship, service, and helping our neighbors.

We are thankful for all of our guests and supporters who continue to make this monthly event such a success. If you have never joined us before, we would love to welcome you.
Good food. Great fellowship. Supporting a great cause.

This will be a very special degree for a most deserving young man—one who has earned the respect and admiration of all who know him.
