Canal Dover Association The Canal Dover Association is a civic organization in Dover Ohio focused on improving the downtown area.

The HCDA participates in most activities in Dover including the Downtown Dover Car Show with Kustom Kemps of Ohio, the Tuscarawas River Canoe & Kayak Race, Lions Halloween Parade, Sidewalk Sales, Dover’s Night of Good Cheer and the Dover Christmas Parade. We were one of the organizations responsible for building the information kiosks on the square, clearing the canal towpath between Wooster and T

uscarawas Avenues, built a replica of the Canal Dover Toll House on Front Street, and we are involved with forming the hiking and biking trails along the canal towpath. Our future goals include helping with the development of the riverfront park, repainting the ghost signs in the downtown area and rehabbing and creating green space in the downtown area. Accomplishing these HCDA projects will improve and beautify the City of Dover, enticing businesses and tourism to thrive.

🇺🇸✨ AMERICA IS TURNING 250 — LET’S LIGHT UP TUSCARAWAS COUNTY and beyond! ✨🇺🇸

The Tusk, DoverPhila Federal Credit Union, and Deck the Halls are launching the "America 250 Illumination Celebration," a county-wide patriotic lighting event!

We’re inviting neighborhoods, businesses, farms, churches, and organizations to glow red, white, and blue.

Please come out and enjoy Luminaries in the Park this Saturday, December 20th at Dover City Park from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Enjoy a tranquil evening walk around the Dover City Pond surrounded with luminary lights and seasonal music.

This is a free event and a wonderful way to enjoy the season with family and friends.

Hot cocoa will be available and canned food donations will be accepted at the hot cocoa table to support a local food bank.
