What an awesome weekend at the First Flight Pheasant Hunt! 🦆

It was amazing watching the kids learn about gun safety, build confidence, and experience the outdoors in such a positive way. Many of them had never had the chance to try something like this before. Seeing their excitement reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

This event was organized and funded by TuscLands through a grant to help introduce youth to safe, ethical hunting and conservation practices.

A big thank-you to everyone who helped make it happen!

TuscLands’ First Flight Pheasant Hunt is taking place this weekend at Bullseye Pheasant & Duck Hunting in Uhrichsville, and we need a few helping hands!

We’re looking for volunteers with firearm experience to assist during the Sunday shooting session (1–5 PM).
Your role will help ensure a safe, smooth, and educational experience for youth participants learning about ethical hunting and conservation.

🎣 Fishing, Fun & Conservation! 🌱
TuscLands had an incredible day partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to connect local youth with the outdoors! From learning how to cast rods and tie hooks, to understanding the importance of protecting our local waterways — these kids got hands-on with nature and even caught a few fish! 🐟
We’re proud to help preserve greenspace in Tuscarawas County and inspire the next generation to care for it. Huge thanks to everyone who made this event a success — we’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!
