🌿🐒 That’s what friends are for! 🐘🦁

It’s hard to believe what these kids have learned, created, and put together in just two weeks! From learning music and choreography to building characters, telling a story, and finding their place in the jungle, they have worked incredibly hard and had a whole lot of fun along the way.

And through it all, they’ve done it together. They’ve encouraged each other, made new friends, and discovered just how much can happen when a cast becomes a team. 💚

Tomorrow, it’s finally time to share it with you, and trust us… you’re going to be impressed!

New Direction Performing Arts Academy is looking for passionate, enthusiastic teaching artists to join our team for after-school theatre classes at Tusky Valley Local Schools!

We are currently seeking:
🎭 Teaching Artists – Theatre
💃 Choreographer / Dance Instructor

We are looking for individuals who:
✨ Love working with children
✨ Have a passion for theatre and/or dance
✨ Have knowledge of the fundamentals of theatre and dance
✨ Enjoy teaching, inspiring, and encouraging young performers
✨ Have a current background check

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your love of the performing arts and help young students build confidence, creativity, and performance skills!

🦁🌿 We’re halfway through our first week, and this cast is having an absolute blast in the jungle! 🐒🐍

Over the past few days, these students have been learning music, exploring characters, building friendships, and bringing the world of Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS to life. Whether they’re marching with the elephants, causing a little monkey business, or discovering that they “wan’na be like you,” this group has already accomplished so much.

From our youngest performers to our oldest students, everyone is finding their place in the pack, making new friends, and discovering what makes this show so special. 🐘🐻🌴

Please help us congratulate the cast of Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS!

Over the next two weeks, these talented students in grades 2–8 will discover new talents, build friendships, grow as performers, and bring the jungle to life onstage.

From mischievous monkeys and marching elephants to tigers, bears, panthers, and snakes, every member of the cast has an important part to play. 🐘🐻🐅

New Direction Performing Arts Academy is super excited to start our second summer camp of the 2026 season at Tusky Valley Local Schools!

This exciting 2-week workshop will teach the “Bare Necessities” of theatre while putting together a production of Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS. Campers will learn acting, singing, dancing, stage presence, and teamwork as they prepare for their final performance.

Join us on Saturday, August 15 at 7:00 PM at the Tusky Valley Middle High School PAC as our campers show off their new skills and all they’ve accomplished in just two weeks!

As we reflect on an unforgettable weekend of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, our hearts are full of gratitude. Three incredible performances, full houses, and countless memories.

To our extraordinary cast - thank you for your dedication, courage, and passion. You brought these beloved characters to life, making audiences laugh, cheer, and even shed a few tears. Watching each of you grow has been a privilege. We couldn’t be prouder.
