Friends of Fairview PTO is a nonprofit organization committed to providing fun and enriching social events for the students attending Fairview Elementary.

Typically during Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTO is busy coordinating activities, giveaways, and a catered lunch to show our teachers how much we appreciate all that they do. While our approach had to be much different this year, I think we hit a homerun!

Today, comedian Eddie B joined the faculty meeting and helped start the day with great laughter (awesome idea Mrs. White!). Also Mrs. White and Ms. Diana have been hand delivering gift bags stuffed with goodies to each teacher and support staff. 🤍 💙

Hello Fairview families!

We wanted to give an update on our Glow Dance-a-thon fundraiser. We were hopeful that we would have been able to return to school before the end of the school year. We would like to bring our fundraiser to an end so that our grand prize winners may receive their prizes. For everyone's health and safety, if you collected cash or checks, we are asking that you please submit your donations electronically on our fundraiser website Www.bit.ly/FairviewGlowDance. If necessary, checks may be mailed to the school, 700 Walker Road, Dover, DE 19904, ATTN: Friends of Fairview PTO. All donations must be received by May 20th.

Participants, please be on the lookout for an email from [email protected] (check junk folder) with additional information.

We appreciate your support in making this fundraiser a success!

Hey Fairview families!

We wanted to give an update on our Glow Dance-a-thon fundraiser. Our students, along with their families, have worked diligently to help us meet our fundraising goal - and boy, are we close! Because there are students who collected money and did not get to turn their envelopes in, we’re extending the fundraising period until May 20th (hopefully we are back to school by then 🤞🏼) to give everyone a fair chance at winning grand prizes.

Hey Fairview families!

With all of the reading taking place during our time away from school, don't forget about the Six Flags Read to Succeed program. When all of this is over, we'll definitely need something fun to do!

Read To Succeed is a free program that allows students in grades K-6 to earn tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure just by reading six hours for fun.

Here is how your child can earn a free ticket to Six Flags:
1) Register this fall using this link: www.sixflags.com/books
Use Fairview Elementary School's code: NCTVD and select the child's teacher.
2) Your child may read any books they choose.
3) Keep track of your child’s reading using the form below.
4) Record your child’s reading on Six Flag's website.
5) Receive a free Six Flags Great Adventure ticket from in May.

Good morning Fairview families!

The first batch of tiered prizes were handed out to students yesterday - and we would love to give out much more!

Enter our Sharing is Caring challenge! Every student and teacher that registers and shares their webpage (Facebook, Twitter, email, text) by Sunday, March 8th at 11:59pm will be entered into a drawing for a Texas Roadhouse gift basket. Each share will count as an entry to win (yes, previous shares count)!

3 Simple Steps to Donation Success!
1. First register or login at www.bit.ly/FairviewGlowDance to your parent dashboard and complete your child’s Student Fundraising Webpage with a picture and personal message.
2. Make an online donation using the red Donate button.
3. Share with friends and family - they want to help! Using the share tools on your parent dashboard send 10-15 emails and/or text messages, then share on Facebook or Twitter. This will help your child reach their goal (possibly within 24/48 hours!).
