Decided to try another way to give Zoomie butt and leg some protection and comfort; not a large amount of material on his upper body because he gets hot. So I used the burp rag and curled the top. Hooked the binky straps to it on a collar. The collar allows no direct pull on his throat or back.

Today I’m taking Nancy to Mineral Wells Animal Clinic. Susie and Nancy, I have named them my “dynamic duo”. One really can’t be without the other. I got Susie all taken care of with her emergency oral surgery. And then Nancy decides to p**p out some blood clots yesterday and today so I scooped her up and we’re on our way to the vet.

Silver Paws and Golden Hearts was created to help sponsor senior babies that are in loving homes not lose their homes due to financial constraints. We will do whatever we can to help Nancy just like we did Susie, so they can be back together and enjoying the love that their mom is going to continue giving them.

UPDATE ON SUSIE

Susie was able to leave today. She stayed one more night due to swelling and controlling of pain. Her mom was anxiously waiting to get her. Will continue the updates as we go.

Clarification on my disclaimer. Susie Came from another county when her human had to go to a nursing home; therefore, no Stewart County funds will be used. HRG took Susie into our Silver Paws and Golden Hearts Program.

One thing I always said: I will never put a dog down because they have bad teeth. It wasn’t Nancy or Susie‘s fault for this, so they shouldn’t be punished.

Susie‘s teeth were beyond saving. She will receive a full extraction and cleanup around the bone. And yes, you’re thinking wow that’s probably a lot of money. And you’re right. Her cost has jumped to almost $1200. Please don’t comment anything about taking her somewhere else or I should’ve done this or I should’ve done that. She went to the nearest vet was in pain and this is what we decided.

Can we use help? Yes.
Any pressure to donate? Absolutely not.

Nancy and Susie have a wonderful mom. I will not deny that to these two girls.

UPDATE: Susie did well through the night. They had her on antibiotics and pain medication. She will be going into surgery soon and I will post another update.

URGENT: HRG is asking for donations for Susie!!

Her HRG mom noticed a foul smell from her mouth and when she got to the vet; puss/blood started come out which burst from an infected area. North Stewart Vet Clinic stepped in to care for her and do the emergency dental due to the infection. They will keep her pain-free with an antibiotic on board tonight, then the dental in the morning. This will cost HRG up to $450 if not more. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please share to help.

UPDATE: found a secure spot. 007 will be going to his new mom on Wednesday. Thank you everyone.

HRG will be looking for a foster for this young Yorky mix. Approximately 6 to 10 weeks maybe. (Mail) not noted at this time too young. Seems to be gentle and no issues. Good Samaritans older Pup is not tolerating so they can’t keep in Foster for me. So looking for a Foster 931-801-1907 message HRG if you can help. Share this post to anyone you know.
