The Town of Sherborn is excited to begin the study of possible improvements to the Route 27/Route 16 split and the roadway intersections in the village center. Public outreach and communications will begin soon. The below includes a QR code to access a link to be added to the contact list for communications. Much more to come.

The Town has received $1,500,000 in grants to begin study and advance the design of this project.

COOLING CENTERS OPEN - JULY 1 & JULY 2💧☀️

With extremely high temperatures expected on Wednesday, July 1st & Thursday, July 2nd, the Dover Town House (Great Hall) and the Caryl Community Center will be open as public cooling centers from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Important things to note:
☑️Pets cannot be accommodated
☑️All children must be supervised by an adult
☑️Gym & program spaces unavailable until after 3 PM (common areas available all day)

Level 2 Significant Drought Declared💧

The Town of Dover is currently experiencing a Level 2 Significant Drought. For residents and businesses in Dover, this limits nonessential outdoor water use.

The Dover Board of Selectmen declared a Level 2 Significant Drought on June 8, 2026, and voted to limit nonessential outdoor water use to hand-held hoses or watering cans only, specifically after 5:00 PM and before 9:00 AM.

Dover’s Water Restriction Bylaw, adopted in 2022, applies to all water sources, including Aquarion, municipal water, and private wells. Learn more in Ch. 182 Water Use Restrictions in Dover’s local bylaws.
